Susannah Chambers was the nineteenth wife of Alvar Chambers. Her father owned the Martian shipping lanes, and found a life-replicating entity in the sea who controlled his body and lured Alvar's cruise ship to it before he was consumed; Alvar's second ex-wife wanting to do anything to keep him alive. Susannah's father was devoured entirely to prolong its existence, along with Susannah herself. (COMIC: The Cruel Sea)
