The Barbara Wright Building was the main building of the renovated Coal Hill Academy. According to a plaque by its entrance, it was completed in Spring 2016. (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo)

By Autumn 2016, Miss Quill taught physics in this building, to Charlie, April, Ram, Tanya and Matteusz. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die, The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo) The Barbara Wright Building held the main hall, and, at the very least, most classrooms. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)

Behind the scenes

File:Tour of Coal Hill - Class Behind the scenes - BBC Three
Fady Elsayed and Sophie Hopkins give a tour of Coal Hill Academy, and the Barbara Wright Building.

The building is obviously named after Barbara Wright, companion of the First Doctor who was a history teacher at Coal Hill School in the 1960s.

Though not obviously visible in the episode itself, the prop for the Barbara Wright Building plaque also states that the architects were "Pick, Holder & Ragan Associates" of 17 Paternoster Place, London, and the contractor was "G Max Construction Ltd." of Mace House, Mill Lane, Leytonstone.
