Talk:Barbara Wright Building

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

History[[edit source]]

Do we really need a long history section about things not specifically to do with the Barbara Wright Building itself? Yes, they take place there, but they have no impact on the building.

It's one thing to talk about some of the damage caused to it in The Lost, or, you know, just to go through major events (rather than every episode), like the first Shadow Kin invasion, Class B3 getting thrown out of space and time, the hologram of the school in the Cabinet of Souls perhaps, and Charlie's use of the Cabinet of Souls in the main hall. There are currently three paragraphs on the events of For Tonight We Might Die.

I agree. There are two issues here.
A lot of people confuse the idea of story pages with character/object/location/etc pages. Story pages get plot summaries; the in-universe pages don't. Can you imagine if we had full paragraphs for every story on each Doctor's page? It would be a mess.
Another thing people don't understand is that one of the main goals of any wiki is to get people clicking on links. That's why we link often. You read an article, and if you want more information, you click. That's how wikis work.
I don't know anything about these stories, but someone who does can pare this article down to what SOTO suggests. Shambala108 15:04, December 7, 2016 (UTC)
