REMEMBERS
Continuity: the story titles should be italicised. (The way to work out references from continuity is. References are in-universe and if there's a lot of them organised under category headings (see...Alien Bodies for an example), continuity is out of universe.)
JUST WANTED TO KEEP IT
- Hi there - just passing through and thought I'd say hello - a really nice page on BiT. Was very amused that some of the isolated images I couldn't remember drawing :) Speaking of which - back to the drawing board for issue 59! Lee Sullivan 20:45, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- I have spoken with Lee on a number of occassions and he has been very helpful in sourcing some of the work and approving use of his artwork. :) A thoroughly decent chap! Im adding more content (hopefully) soon. The Librarian 01:19, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Just loved the imagery!! Creepy!!
- To paraphrase the Dalek movies; Every move you make I see, every sound you utter I hear...(sounds a lot less creepy in the 60s Dalek voices with the lights flashing not in sync with the voices). I'm always around here. --Tangerineduel 07:48, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
New Bits
Typos and Americans...
Well, you know how Americans like AWF and myself are a timid and shy lot, never ones to wish to cause offense... but seriously, I'm sure it was just because it was a quote from a source material, and he wanted to be sure. It's not unheard of for publications to have typos themselves. Incidentally, while AWF doesn't have a userpage yet, he does have a talk page (User talk:Americanwhofan), for messages. As for deleting the conversation on the talk page, I think that's frowned upon in the Wiki. You might want to put it up in the Forum:Panopticon or ask User:Tangerineduel or User:Doug86 about it. Question about The Germ War
Were the robots in that story called Disinfectodroids, Disinfectoids, or something else? The article may have to be moved. Doug86 21:09, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
Penny, pounds, dollars, euros and other thoughts in other denominations
Working in reverse, looking through your additions to Doug86's talk page.
Redirect vs deletion: Doug86 is correct in the case of articles that have been mis-spelled it is proper to move a page to the correct name, rather than delete it. This preserves the page's history.
Your 'plea'. The reason Doug86 is probably working on them I imagine is the same reason I often work on a variety of pages, and that would be that I keep the Recent changes page open in a separate tab and frequently refresh it looking at the new page edits / page creations. Editing, deleting and whatever as is necessary.
DWAS: Again Doug86 is correct. The organisation is called the 'Doctor Who Appreciation Society'. Typically we only add brackets to a name if there's a conflict (which generally would involve a disambiguation page). But if you feel that people might go looking for DWAS a redirect to the page can be created.
And finally my talk page (and a bit of Doug86's also). There are always going to be pages in the Orphaned pages list, there will be the aforementioned disambiguation pages (which generally don't have anything linking to them), there are some other pages that I can't currently think of. So I wouldn't worry about that aspect. Did you find the orphaned page list randomly or (if you're looking for a full list of stuff to do) see Tardis:To Do List. Hope this is all of some help, or slightly enlightening at the least. --Tangerineduel 07:26, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
