Shara was a physicist.
On Talderun, he created an energy converter that generated a time loop so he could exist in eternal bliss. When a crucial component of the converter (his skeleton) was removed, the imbalance threatened to rupture the Time Vortex. This was averted when Antranak jumped into the converter as a replacement.
