Edwige Ponzi was a scientist who created an invisibility shield. She was a scientist who accidentally blinded four of her students and then set her lab alight. When Ian Gilmore told her that the machines weren't working properly she was determined to make them work. She wanted to perfect her technology not sell it on like Balthazar Schrek did.
