The Eleventh Doctor joked that the star whale's mouth at the heart of Starship UK — which he at the time thought a rubbish dump — might be the spaceship's version of the county. (TV: The Beast Below) While searching the wrecked TARDIS, the Eleventh Doctor used Gregor's Scanner to find Clara based on her Lancashire origins. Later, the scanner picked up that one of the Time Zombies was also from Lancashire, denoting that this was a future version of her. (TV: Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS)

Though not considered part of the Doctor Who universe by this wiki, Scream of the Shalka was set in the fictional Lancashire village of Lannet.
