Omega conducted time travel experiments aboard a space station in orbit around the black hole known as the Heart of Messina.
The station had a large crew which included Karidice, Emiscal, Ralics, and an Engineer.
During Omega's first entrance into the Time Vortex, the station encountered a Chronovore, which killed Karidice and the engineer. Omega escaped the Chronovore by piloting the space station through the vortex, away from the black hole. The station held services for the two fallen Time Lords, before returning to Gallifrey.
