- Omega is the first Time Lord to enter the Time Vortex. He utilises materialisation technology and a stasis halo.
- Despite not having achieved time travel, Omega's people still call themselves Time Lords. Omega muses that once his research has been made public, they would be able to call themselves the true lords of time.
- The Time Lords have been observing the vortex for years prior to Omega's first entry.
