Tim Davie (born 25 April 1967[1]) was the chief executive of BBC Worldwide. When George Entwistle resigned in the wake of the Jimmy Savile paedophelia scandal[2], Davie served as interim Director-General of the BBC from November 2012 to March 2013, when Tony Hall took over.[3]
In 2020 it was announced he would take over the Director-Generalship from Hall, again, this time on a permanent basis.[4]
