A giant Cyber-statue was a landmark within a city constructed in honour of the Cyber-Controller of the Mondasian Cybermen.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

At a point where the Cyber Empire was at its height, the Mondasian Cybermen abducted and enslaved thousands of humans and took them to a planet where they were made to construct a city in honour of the Cyber-Controller, who wished it to match their "greatness". Upon completion, the Cyber-statue was heaved into an upright position.

One night, after the TARDIS, materialised, the Second Doctor attached a mini-bomb to the base of the Cyber-statue. The next morning, the Doctor detonated the bomb, which toppled and destroyed the Cyber-statue. As intended, the destruction of the Cyber-statue distracted the Cybermen, allowing the human slaves to overrun their defensive ray-gun posts and overthrow the Cybermen. (COMIC: The Cyber Empire)
