Straitjacket

A straitjacket was a jacket-like item of clothing used to restrain the wearer.

In 1883, Redvers Fenn-Cooper was held in a straitjacket while imprisoned in Gabriel Chase. (TV: Ghost Light)

In 1969, the Eleventh Doctor was held in a straitjacket while imprisoned in Area 51. He escaped it after being placed in a cell made of dwarf star alloy. (TV: Day of the Moon)
