Battalion

Both the Daleks and the Cybermen were organised into battalions.

The Dalek Survival Guide acknowledged a claim that, during the Battle of Poseidon, several Dalek battalions were wiped out by their own Daleks, necessitating the introduction of bumpers to the Dalek casing which could detect signals that warned when other Daleks were dangerously close. However, since there was no visual evidence of Daleks ever being without these fenders, this claim was treated with a degree of skepticism. (PROSE: Dalek Survival Guide)

On 5 December 2021, the Dalek and Cyber-races were lured by the Sontarans to the protection of the Lupari shield in anticipation of the final Flux event. The bronze Daleks reported that "all" Dalek battalions were aligned at that point, whilst the Cyber-Warriors likewise declared that their Cyber-battalions were amassed. It was at this point that the Sontarans released the Lupari shield, leaving the assembled Daleks and Cybermen to be destroyed by the Flux.
