During the Great Disruption caused by the first Flux event on 31 October 2021, the resurrected Dalek Empire fought over what remained of the universe with the Cyber-Warriors and time-active Sontarans. (TV: Once, Upon Time) On 5 December, the assembled Dalek War Fleet, composed of "all Dalek battalions", responded to the Sontarans' offer of an alliance, only to be destroyed by the final Flux event as the Sontarans had planned. Blaming the Doctor for the loss of the Dalek War Fleet, Dalek Command dispatched a squad of Dalek Executioners to Earth in order to exterminate her. A week after saving the universe from her perspective, the Doctor set about engaging the TARDIS's reset system for the first time ever, in order to remove the debris leftover from the Flux. She intended to have herself and her companions wait the process out on an alien beach. However, they found themselves in ELF Storage, in Manchester, instead. She, Yaz and Dan encountered a Executioner Dalek who exterminated them, however they were resurrected when the TARDIS created a time loop. After numerous fatal attempts to evade the Daleks with two bystanders, Sarah and Nick, the Doctor devised a successful plan to destroy the Executioner Daleks using explosives stored in the facility, ending the loop entirely by fleeing the building. Following the ordeal, the Thirteenth Doctor told Yasmin Khan and Dan Lewis that she always wondered what happened to the Flor de la Mar and its lost treasure, and suggested they should go find out. (TV: Eve of the Daleks) Ending up centuries out of date from their intended target, the travelers found themselves in 1807 China where they thwarted a pirate Sea Devil's plan to use the Keystone to flood the entire Earth. The Spy Master recognised and played to the Daleks' hatred for the Doctor, convincing them to join him along with his CyberMasters and Cyber-Leader Ashad's Cyber-Warriors in the Master's Dalek Plan. (TV: The Power of the Doctor)
