Byron Bay was a settlement on the coast of Australia, near Sydney. Polly Wright and Atimkos visited the area on their way to visit Godwanna in Hyper reality. After Polly realised Atimkos had been manipulating her, Atimkos "blew up" the Earth and took them to hyper reality. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)
