The Story of Fester Cat (PROSE: Fester and the Christmas Mouse) was a book written by Fester Cat in the final month of his life. The book encapsulated the preceding seven-odd years of his life, although it wasn't completely accurate; for instance, partway through the book, Fester admitted to omitting art critic Panda, a fellow resident at Paul and Jeremy's home, from most of the book simply because he was sceptical Panda was actually alive. History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Fester began writing the book in early March, 2013, after he found he had a taste for writing after he had written reviews for Paul's blog. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) After Fester had written a good amount, Paul suggested that he should write a short story in order to publicise the book; Fester obliged, deciding to write about one of his very first Christmasses with Paul, Jeremy, and Panda. (PROSE: Fester and the Christmas Mouse) After Jeremy's forty-sixth Birthday, Fester became unwell. A day or so later, Fester and Paul talked about Fester's life in Levenshulme, and in the following days, Fester was humanely euthanised due to a stroke. After Paul and Jeremy spent the weekend crying, Paul spent the following days frantically finishing the book, in a combined effort to make sure that the years Fester and spent with him were immortalised and in an attempt to bring Fester to life upon the page.
