Paul and Jeremy's home
After a while of moving residences, Paul Magrs, Jeremy, and Panda finally settled down in 2005 in a terraced, red-brick home next to the railway on Chestnut Avenue, located in Levenshulme, South Manchester. This house was located to next an alley. Karen and Mark's home was located just down the street. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)

Upstairs[[edit] | [edit source]]
Paul and Jeremy's bedroom was filled with floor-to-ceiling bookcases, filled with books from every home Paul and Jeremy had lived in. The couple shared a bed, which Fester Cat liked to sleep on with them. Towards the front of the house, Paul and Jeremy had studies, where he would write his books with Fester, and all of Chestnut Avenue was visible from the window in that room.
The bathroom was located above the kitchen. In the bathroom, there was a white rug from Habitat, Fester's litter tray (which they placed by the claw-foot bathtub, and a Venetian chandelier. There was a tall window which overlooked the garden. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
Downstairs[[edit] | [edit source]]
In the house, there was a dining room, a sitting room, a cellar, and a kitchen. The latter two rooms were located at the rear of the house.
The cellar was located underneath the water table, so it was quite wet down there, allowing mould to grow over the assortment of old books, papers, folders, files, furniture, and videotapes. The floor was also muddy.
Everything inside the kitchen was wooden and old, and the lighting was pink and orange. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) On the kitchen table, there were piles of papers, letters, books, heaps of crockery, and a vase of pink lilies. (PROSE: Fester and the Christmas Mouse) The kitchen contained Fester's smorgasbord, a radio, and a fridge, and through the room, the garden could be accessed. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
Exterior[[edit] | [edit source]]
The front[[edit] | [edit source]]
The house was constructed from mellow red-bricks. The front of the house had a pink door, and there was blue gravel scattered across the ground. Each of the front windows were lit up in different colours. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
Garden[[edit] | [edit source]]
In the garden, there was a concrete patio (with a patio table), Fester's "Poo Corner", a deep pond where a tree used to be, a veranda chair which Fester liked to sit on, Down the middle of the garden, there was "Fester's plank", and there was bits and pieces of DIY and gardening stuff lying about. The grass was long and untended, and there stood at the end of the garden a wooden construction called the "Beach House", which was contructed in 2007, where a carport used to be; it also faced a magnolia tree, and the railway lines. The Beach House was decorated with a bed settee from their old flat, two rickety bookcases, a coffee table from Paul's Mam's house, several boxes of yellowing paperback books, paintings of oceans and beaches in frames from car boot sales and charity shops, and a wickerwork butterfly chair. History[[edit] | [edit source]]
There used to be a massive tree in the garden, which had been growing years before the contruction of the house.
The previous owners of the house, whose indentity was unknown, did botched DIY on the house, causing problems years later.
After Paul, Jeremy, and Panda moved into the house sometime in 2005, a gang of teenagers broke into the house one night through the sitting room window, and either Paul or Jeremy came down, catching them red-handed.
In spring of 2006, Fester chased some squirrels in a birch tree, but two storeys up, he found himself stuck. Paul came out of the house and took a photo on his phone, and Fester precariously climbed down, and dashed off. That summer, Fester spent more and more time with Paul and Jeremy in the garden. Near the latter end of that year, Paul and Jeremy's friend Albert visited them in their home, where he was rude about how the house looked. At Christmas, Paul and Jeremy's families visited them, and a few days later, Paul and Jeremy hosted a Christmas party.
In a following summer, men from a garden centre in Macclesfield constructed a Beach House in their garden. The Beach House wuold become one of Paul and Fester's favourite places to write.
Sometime later, Jeremy dug out the remains of the decades old tree, which had been poorly and only partially removed by the previous owners. Upon the complete removal of the tree, Jeremy built a pond.
In 2013, while Paul and Fester were in the kitchen, the ceiling collapsed inwards. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) In this same year, Fester started to write a book about his life living with Paul and Jeremy in their home, (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) as well as a short story to publicise the book.
