Shooting Stars was a comedy television series which originally aired on BBC Two and BBC Choice from 27 December 199312 September 2011.

In 1997, a Doctor Who-themed skit was aired on the show, titled "The (Doctor) Who [+]Loading...["The (Doctor) Who (TV story)","The (Doctor) Who"]", featuring, among others, Matt Lucas as the Second Doctor, long preceeding Lucas's later appearance as the Twelfth Doctor's companion, Nardole.
