The Ritz Theatre was a cinema located on Totter's Lane in Shoreditch, London. In 1963, the First Doctor and Susan Foreman visited the cinema to watch a film about the fall of Rome. After the Doctor rudely and repeatedly pointed out inaccuracies within the film, Mrs. Smith, an usherette, told them both to leave, with the duo walking away together in the direction of a junkyard.
