Chameleon Circuit was a band that played music about Doctor Who, a genre called "Trock" (Time Lord Rock).[1] Alex Day, one member of the band, was said to have created this genre, though other bands played songs about Doctor Who before them. They originated on the video-sharing site YouTube, where all band members actively posted videos and used it as their main form of promotion for their songs. They released two albums.

Members

Chameleon Circuit was composed of five members : Alex Day (vocals, guitar, bass); Charlie McDonnell (vocals, guitar, keyboards, melidoca, ukulele); Liam Dryden (vocals, keyboard, bass); Ed Blann (vocals, guitar); and Michael Aranda (backing vocals, guitar, mixing). Chris Beattie (vocals, guitar, ukulele) was a former band member.
