He overheard Dr Henderson talking to Dr Lomax about the Third Doctor's non-human blood samples. Afterwards, he called the Daily Chronicle offices (TV: Spearhead from Space ^[+]Loading...["Spearhead from Space (TV story)"]) and told the story to James Stevens. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy ^[+]Loading...["Who Killed Kennedy (novel)"]) Afterwards, he was given the job of keeping the reporters out of the hospital.
