A version of the Twelfth Doctor existed in the Daft Dimension. He was very concerned with discarding the quirkiness "frills" of his past selves' styles to appear as "100% rebel Time Lord".
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Early exploits[[edit] | [edit source]]
In his universe, this Doctor existed both as a real being and a television character. One of his early televised adventures featured a scene where, immediately after "the Half-Face Man's death", the Doctor gave an "enigmatic look directly to camera", which fans interpreted as relating to the question of whether the Half-Face Man had jumped to his death or been pushed off by the Doctor. In actuality, however, the Doctor's thought process in that moment was completely unrelated to the situation: he'd thought back to the day the day he left Gallifrey, suddenly wondering if he'd remembered to cancel his milk subscription first. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 484)
Shortly after his regeneration from his predecessor, this Doctor decided to overhaul the look of his TARDIS's control room to be extremely minimalistic, replacing the time rotor with a simple wooden box with a lever that could be pulled from "past" to "future". His companion Clara Oswald gently tried to get him to understand that his idea was far too simplified even though she did understand his yearning for a new radical look. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 477) He subsequently changed it to a more conventional interior with orange hexagons on the walls and a beige control console. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 478, The Daft Dimension 479)
Adventures with Clara[[edit] | [edit source]]
Clara once watched as the Doctor tried to lift his oversized Two Thousand Year Diary. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 478)
After an adventure where he and Clara had met a legendary character, Clara asked the Doctor why they couldn't meet any more such figures, but the Doctor insisted that the vast majority were fictional. He was particularly dismissive of the possibility of meeting a certain being with "ludicrous" long arms, only for him to appear from behind the Doctor just as he and Clara walked out of the TARDIS onto a grassy plain. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 479)
After going through an adventure similar to the N-Space Clara and Doctor's adventure on the Moon, (TV: Kill the Moon, COMIC: The Daft Dimension 480) Clara questioned how the creature had laid an egg bigger than itself, prompting the Doctor to demonstrate that the new moon was in fact very tiny, but in much closer orbit to the Earth than its predecessor. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 480)
The Doctor and Clara later had a Christmas party in the TARDIS with Rusty. Despite the Dalek's objections, the two humanoids insisted on wrapping him in Christmas decorations and thus using him as a Christmas tree. As he protested, Rusty called the Doctor a "good Dalek" and insisted that he could see "beauty, divinity [and] hatred" in the Doctor's soul, but he failed to disturb the Doctor. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 481)
Some time later, with the Doctor now having switched the control room desktop theme again to light-blue hexagons with an intensely blue time column, Clara finally asked the Doctor what the "significance" of the blackboard he'd installed in the control room really was. The Doctor gleefully demonstrated that the sound of scraping against the board was unbearable to many of his enemies, making a Cyberman, Dalek, Silent and Zarbi who'd snuck aboard all cringe and beg for mercy. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 482)
Around 26 March 2015, (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 563) the Doctor acknowledged that, by Earth standards, it had been ten years since he'd returned from the Time War and met Rose Tyler. Clara initially intended to bake a cake, that she would adorn with ten candles, before the Doctor admitted that, from his perspective, it had been more than one thousand years due to his time on Trenzalore; Clara decided to simply bake a soufflé instead. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 485)
The Doctor entered into a great conflict with Davros, which was said to be even greater than the Time War, a conflict in which Davros claimed he would be victorious even if it spanned centuries; a flame war. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 486)
The Doctor took Clara to her hometown of Blackpool 1894, the year Blackpool Tower opened, where they met up with Vastra, Jenny, and Strax. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 487)
The group later spectated a tennis match between a Weeping Angel and a Silent, which Clara branded as a waste of time, as the former could only play when she was not being looked at, and the spectators forget who her opponent was when they look away from him. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 488)
When Clara asked him if he thought he'd ever encounter a parallel universe again, the Doctor expressed his hope that he would not, believing them to be "dark and twisted reflections" of their own world, with unspeakable differences. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 489)
The Doctor, wearing a new pair of trousers, appeared in a trailer for series 9 of Doctor Who which also featured Missy, Daleks, Skaro, and a mysterious girl. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 490)
As his N-Space counterpart did, (TV: The Magician's Apprentice) the Doctor responded to a summons from a dying Davros who, in this universe, asked him to play the spoons for him as his final request. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 492)

The Doctor and several of his friends gathered for Christmas inside the TARDIS, where he was bemused to find that they had all given him the same thing for their Christmas presents; pairs of underpants with a question mark pattern. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 494)
After Clara[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Doctor was trapped in a Confession Dial, where he spent 4.5 billion years punching a diamond wall. (TV: Heaven Sent, COMIC: The Daft Dimension 548, The Daft Dimension 571)
When he reunited with Clara, unaware of her identity, at a diner, he played the song he wrote, "Clara", to her, with a one-man band. (TV: Hell Bent, COMIC: The Daft Dimension 497)
A night on Darillium[[edit] | [edit source]]
As in N-Space, the Doctor and River Song spent one final night together on Darillium. (TV: The Husbands of River Song)
He explained the Singing Towers to her, that nobody knew where the music came from, unaware that the source was his second incarnation, standing at the base of the towers playing his recorder. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 496)
At the end of their stay, the hotel presented the pair with a large bill. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 509)
Further adventures[[edit] | [edit source]]
He spent at least two Christmas's in the TARDIS with his other incarnations; once with all twelfth of his predecessors, (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 507) and another where he was among those invited to Christmas dinner by his thirteenth incarnation. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 559)
He also had other multi-Doctor encounters; he was arrested and imprisoned alongside them in the Judoon prison, (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 550) and was prematurely summoned by the Thirteenth Doctor to celebrate sixty years of their adventures. (COMIC: The Daft Dimension 571)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Twelfth Doctor is the most prolific of the Daft Dimension Doctors, appearing in twenty-five strips as of 2023, the first twenty-one of which were published during his television tenure. This is primarily due to a combination of the strip's debut coinciding with the premiere of Series 8, and the earlier instalments having a greater focus on the misadventures of the then-present Doctor and companion combo (indeed, Clara Oswald is also the most prolific companion for this reason). In comparison, his immediate successor only starred in eight strips during her own tenure, a consequence of the series' focus expanding to cover other characters and Doctors.
