Introduction
Simple request. A think an Infobox that covers holidays and celebrations would be a handy little feature.
I envision it containing the following fields (apart from the obvious ones):
- Origin = Where did it originate?
- Celebrated by = What planets is it celebrated on?
- Faith = What religion is it associated with (if applicable)?
- Relevant figures = e.g. Jesus Christ, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny
Discussion
I don't know that this wouldn't be covered by the Event infobox?… --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 19:35, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oh? I'm getting "Events and exhibitions" and "Events and conflicts" in my search; the former is for real world exhibits, and the latter seems to be made more specifically for wars and battles. WaltK ☎ 20:09, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- {{Infobox Event or Exhibition}} says that the older versions are deprecated but still around. But that doesn't solve the issue Scrooge, because Template:Infobox Event/doc notes that it's for real world events. (tbc, I don't think we need a thread for this, I think this is something you can just create, and then if people have an issue with it later then it can be discussed. Under the "be bold" section of T:BOUND. But now that the thread is opened...) Najawin ☎ 20:40, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- I was thinking of "Events and conflicts" (or as it is in my head, plainly "the in-universe one"). --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 21:36, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
