Captain Mohit Sharma was an officer who worked for UNIT in India. He had Naomi Cross bring Harry Sullivan to him so that he could enlist his help in investigating Ramesh Kamal, whom he knew wanted the help of a doctor. After Kamal's death, he informed Harry and Naomi that Amita Kamal would be exonerated of her crimes and was introduced by the Fourth Doctor to Shorak, whose Sea Devil colony came under UNIT's protection.
