The State Room was a room in 10 Downing Street, connected to the Cabinet Room by a corridor.

Following the election of her husband, "Harold Saxon", Lucy Saxon sat in this room before journalist Vivien Rook barged in to interview her despite Tish Jones' protests. There, Vivien confronted Lucy with the fact that Harold Saxon did not exist only for "Harry" to spontaneously appear within the room. Admitting his true identity, the Master summoned four Toclafane whom used their blades to attack Vivien as the Master and Lucy rushed out of the room. Whilst the Toclafane slowly killed Vivien, a shocked Master opened the door twice to hear Vivien continue to scream. (TV: The Sound of Drums [+]Loading...["The Sound of Drums (TV story)"])
