The Super Intelligence Chip-5000 was an intelligence chip used by AIEIO. According to Patience Patience, it was "completely useless", containing out-of-date information. Doctor Doctor corroborated this, adding that it got its name due to it being 5000 years old.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

After the STARSHED went through a "Pickle Storm" and wound up in the Levan Nebula, the ship was boarded by space bandits who intended to steal AIEIO's Super Intelligence Chip-5000, having heard that it contained knowledge which would help them to "take over the entire galaxy!".

After being ordered to open a flap, Patience Patience presented a tray of oven chips, leading one space bandit to remark that they may need a memory chip, as well.

Doctor Doctor claimed to know martial arts, claiming that they'd never get past he and Patience to steal the intelligence chip. However, when one of the bandits pointed the other way, claiming there to be a shooting star, the Doctor and Patience both turned away, allowing the bandits to steal the chip.

The bandits hooked one of themselves up to the chip, although they only got a random assortment of useless information:

Patience explained that AIEIO wasn't actually intelligent, meaning the chip was useless, with the Doctor agreeing and claiming it to have been a waste of the bandits's time. After the bandits left, AIEIO was left without his chip, with Patience realising that he was the only one who knew the directions out of the nebula. (TV: Space Bandits! [+]Loading...["Space Bandits!
