Torchwood: The Official Comic was a monthly comic book series published in North America by the American branch of Titan Publishing Group. Each issue featured reprints of comics and short stories previously featured in Torchwood Magazine, which was published in the UK. The comic augmented the reprints with North America-exclusive cover art. The first issue was cover-dated September 2010 and released in the summer of 2010.
The comic was cancelled after six issues due to Titan losing the rights to Torchwood, as described in issue #24 of the magazine. Both the magazine and the comic ceased publication around the same time, meaning the comic was unable to reprint all of the short stories and fiction featured in the magazine, though as the magazine was also distributed in North America, fans were still able to obtain the stories.
