The computers of a spaceship stranded at the edge of the universe were programmed in a language the Fourteenth Doctor did not already know; he knew 57,000,000,205 at the time. As a result, when the TARDIS fled the ship due to the Hostile Action Displacement System, the Doctor was forced to try and interpret the situation onboard the ship without the use of the translation circuit.

He was able to identify the numerals used in the language's writing system upon reaching the ship's bridge, but, not knowing how to connect them to the spoken version, did not initially realise that the words being broadcast over the ship's intercom were numbers and a countdown. Known words[[edit] | [edit source]]

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

The word for one was never heard in the episode because when the ship reached this point in the countdown, the TARDIS re-materialised inside the ship as it considered the Hostile Action to be over, causing the word to become translated into English.
