- In Dream-Eaters [+]Loading...["Dream-Eaters (TV story)"], Darius Pike experiences a nightmare in which he asks Mariah to let him out, to which the car responds "I'm sorry, Darius, but I can't do that." in a similar fashion to HAL 9000's iconic line "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."
- HAL 9000 appears in an easter egg in LEGO Dimensions [+]Loading...["LEGO Dimensions (video game)"].
