In the last months of the Last Great Time War, the Daleks launched a mission to take control of the thirteen Weapons Factories of Villengard.

Moving to prevent this, the War Doctor forcibly enlisted the services of the Crespallion, Dorium Maldovar, assistant to Senor Bensteth. With under 42 minutes to go before the Dalek Fleet arrived, the Doctor and Dorium made their way to the factories, with Dorium noting that many Crespallions were working there. A little under 22 minutes later, the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver to activate a molecular fruit bomb, which would vaporize the reactors and cause the resulting water droplets to become palm trees. As the Dalek Fleet arrived at the planet, the Doctor and Dorium watched as the Weapons Factories were destroyed, inflicting damage upon the Dalek saucers, concluding that the mission had failed and to abort. Dorium admitted that he was happy to have helped but noted that he had been fired, to which the Doctor suggested that he open a bar as he handed him a pair of bananas from the palm trees. It was only when the Doctor returned to the TARDIS that Dorium realised who he was. (COMIC: The Whole Thing's Bananas [+]Loading...["The Whole Thing's Bananas (comic story)"])

The Ninth Doctor identified Captain Jack Harkness's sonic blaster as a 51st century weapon from the Weapon Factories of Villengard. When Jack recalled that the main reactor had gone critical and vaporised the lot, the Doctor indicated his involvement and noted that there was now a banana grove there, adding "bananas are good". The Doctor reflected on the War Doctor's actions on Villengard as they regenerated from the Twelfth Doctor to the Thirteenth Doctor. (COMIC: The Whole Thing's Bananas [+]Loading...["The Whole Thing's Bananas (comic story)"])
