Does Torchwood not set alien-detecting alarms, because they would be going off every time they captured an ET and brought it back to base?

"Yes, I know there is a Weevil in the building! I'm handcuffed to the bleeding thing."

I was originally going to point out that The Hub seemed to have an alarm for everything down to power loss (Cyberwoman) whilst Torchwood One had Cybermen and Daleks invading its headquarters, and not a dicky-bird!

On refflection though, the Hub alarms did not react to the presence of Ianto's girlfriend either, though he may have turned them off. But if he did, would he not have turned off the others too? Torchwood Five 92.40.171.35 10:29, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
