Does Torchwood not set alien-detecting alarms, because they would be going off every time they captured an ET and brought it back to base?

"Yes, I know there is a Weevil in the building! I'm handcuffed to the bleeding thing."

I was originally going to point out that The Hub seemed to have an alarm for everything including lockdown, a bomb inside Jack (COE - Day One), down to power loss (Cyberwoman) whilst Torchwood One had Cybermen and Daleks invading its headquarters, and not a dicky-bird!

On reflection though, the Hub alarms did not react to the presence of Ianto's girlfriend or her cyber-conversion table either, though he may have disabled them. But if he did, would he not have turned off the others too? Torchwood Five 92.40.171.35 10:29, July 30, 2010

maybe not. the cyber woman and her tech were not alien. Lu-igi board

yeah...but for many of the stuff, it could be the alarms did go off...but they just didn't show it on screen...they don't have to be audio alarms...could be visual alarms, psychic alarms, etc. It makes sense for Torchwood One to use any audio alarms...considering that Torchwood is suppose to be a top secret organization and they are in the middle of Canary Wharf...

Moreover, as Lu-igi said...Cybus Cybermen are not aliens...Daleks, being pretty much the most advanced civilization in the current Whoniverse and all of their stories in the new series involve them hiding without being detected, probably had some signal interferring technology so they weren't detectable after they stepped out the Void Ship... --222.166.181.90 07:55, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
