• 1914 - Anna Wing, who played Anatta in DW: Kinda, was born at Hackney in London.

• 1954 - Chris MacDonnell, who played Arnheim in DW: Dragonfire, was born at Redruth, Cornwall, England.

• 1965 - "Death of a Spy", Episode 3 of DW: The Myth Makers was first broadcast.

• 1979 - Graham Ashley, who played the Overseer in DW: The Underwater Menace, died.

• 1997 - Doctor Who creator Sydney Newman died from a heart attack in Toronto, Canada.
