Creet was a young Human boy who grew up on the planet of Malcassairo, waiting to fly to Utopia fromSilo 16. He helped out at the Silo 16 refugee base by helping new refugees find their friends and relatives. He seems to have been an orphan; when asked who he was travelling with he said it was just him. WhenMartha Jones asked him what he thought Utopia would be like, he said his mother used to say " The skies are made of diamonds" (DW: Utopia)

When asked his age, he replied "Old enough to work",however he appeared to be around 9 or 10 years of age. he had long, blonde hair and wore a grubby pull-over with a brown waistcoat. He spoke with a Scottish accent.

He boarded the rocket with many fellow refugees whenThe Doctor and Captain Jack fixed the system allowing the ship to take off.it was here he said goodbye to Martha before heading for Utopia.

Once there, as with all the Humans, he became a Toclafane. A shared memory resulted in one Toclafane

at liking to the Boy and was unsettled to see he was working at such a young age, and was horrified to find out that he had become aToclafane.

Behind The Scenes

Creet was portrayed by young Scottish actorJohn Bell, who was given the opportunity in a Blue Peter competition.

The character of Creet became quite popular with audiance members, and many were unhappy with his death,as such, many fan-made stories and other literature have been created which show Creet somehow surviving the Utopia disaster. Such literature, hovever, is Non-Cannon.

David Tennant, Freema Agyeman and John Barrowman stated on the audio commentary for "Last of the Time Lords" that because of the many times John bell had to repeat his line "Im looking for Bilto Toc Shaffe Cane", it stuck in their heads, and they made numerous references to this throughout the commentary, and Barrowman even included it in a joke"Mini-Song" about Martha walking the earth telling stories about the doctor, etc....

Freema also stated that upon meeting John Bell she thought he was a girl due to his long hair.
