GBC 1 was a channel broadcast under the GBC. One of it's shows was involved the "update news" team who would report on major stories that were developing. They provided much coverage of the Skeletoid invasion with information on responses from major leaders such as the Draconian High-Commission, the Cyber-Emperor and Davros. Following one such broadcast, they ran a profile of Abel Gantz. (DWM: Abel's Story)
