GBC 1 was a channel broadcast under the GBC. One of its shows involved the "update news" team, who would report on major stories that were developing. They provided coverage of the Skeletoid invasion with information on responses from major leaders such as the Draconian High-Commission, the Cyber-Emperor and Davros.
