Boar

Wild boars were a species that became extinct in England, though there are wild boars in other countries.

In the late 1980s, a man in Kent was breeding continental boars. After a storm, a tree broke open their cage and they wandered onto the Doctor's land. He then taught them to talk. Brewster was a talking boar and he held the Doctor's story to be heresy as he considered the boar's reintroduction to be divine intervention. (EDA: Mad Dogs and Englishmen)
