Series 1 of Doctor Who, occasionally known as season 27 for clarity between it and season 1, ran between 26th March 2005 and 18th June 2005. It featured Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler, Adam Mitchell and Jack Harkness as the Doctor's companions.

The story arc for this season was the phrase "Bad Wolf".
