The Arapaho were a Native American warrior society. Some of their members became Nunaha'wu (roughly translated as "I am not existing" or "We were not here"), and were initiated by a Rubbing Ceremony which erased them from time. There were eight levels to Arapaho society, with the Nunaha'wu being the seventh. Above them were the the seven venerable "Grandfathers". (PROSE: The Book of the War)
