The co-pilot of an aeroplane transporting a package from the J.D.S. in America to P.R.O.B.E. in the U.K. got "curious" on the trip and ended up opening the package, which had been put in his personal care, while the plane was in flight. It turned out to contain the mythical water-weapon Varunastra, which lashed out at him and drowned him, though it did not harm anyone else aboard the plane. His baffling death, treated as a murder case, caused Tasha Williams some difficulty in retrieving the package after the plane landed, though she succeeded soon enough.
