Darial Cho was a sculptor who was fairly persecuted due to her choice of artistic medium - she carved people up, killed them, and put them on display, all as a form of artistic expression. She referred to the process as "creative homicide", and disliked when River Song simply put it as "murdering people for art". She believed people should be grateful to be chosen as one of her pieces, and wished to make River into a piece entitled "The Silenced Song".
