The Thirteenth Doctor created an emergency transmission in which she claimed to be "self-isolating", or hiding, from an army of Sontarans. The Doctor then listed 5 things that she did in any worrying situation in order to encourage the recipients to do the same thing. The first was to remember that they would get through the situation, and that darkness never prevailed. The second was to tell jokes, especially bad ones, which she claimed to be 'brilliant' at. The third was to be kind, and to be kinder than they were the day before, even if they were 'super kind'. She also said that the recipients should look out for each other, including friends, neighbours, people they hardly know, and family, and claimed that talking and sharing would help. The fourth was to listen to science and doctors. The fifth was to stay strong and to stay positive. She then claimed that she would see the recipient 'very soon'.

The transmission was sent out because the Doctor's TARDIS detected an upsurge in psychological signals from somewhere in space and time. (WC: Message from the Doctor)
