Gary Finch was a parallel universe counterpart of Gary Jonathan Finch from another universe. He was married to Karen Murgatroyd. As with his counterpart, Gary had a son, Clive Finch.
Gary worked as a radio operator in the military and would pick up signals from all over the world, and told his son that one day it would be possible to pick up signals from the stars, sparking Clive's interest in UFOs and other conspiracy theories. (AUDIO: The Endless Night)
