Gary Jonathan Finch
Second Lieutenant Gary Jonathan Finch was the father of Clive Finch. In 1963, when Clive was two years of age, Gary, as a member of the London Regiment, fought against the Daleks in the Shoreditch Incident. He was exterminated by an Imperial Dalek. Gary was at least in his early 30s when he died. Clive's mother described him to her son as a "proper little Cockney" who was always scrapping and handy with his fists. He had the same curly hair as his son.
Although the cause of his death was hushed up by the military, Clive continued to research well into his adulthood. This was the catalyst for his research into the Doctor. (PROSE: Rose [+]Loading...["Rose (novelisation)"])
