Supreme Councillor Geflo was the head of the council in the year 4000. She came to visit Jalnik in the past, and was tricked into believing that the Doctor, Leela and Charlotte Willis were time travellers who were acting against the planned evacuation into the past. (AUDIO: The Foe from the Future)

According to John Dorney, who adapted the scripts of The Foe from the Future for audio, the only female character in the original draft was Leela. When it was adapted for The Lost Stories, Gelfo was cast as female, played by Jaimi Barbakoff, although there was otherwise no fundamental change to the character. The character of Kostal was also similarly changed in the casting stage. (BFX: The Foe from the Future)
