Gustav Hoegen

Gustav Hoegen was a prosthetics technician credited on the Doctor Who stories The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords. He worked alongside Anthony Parker.

He was also credited as a prosthetics technician on Torchwood: Children of Earth.

According to his website, Hoegen worked as an uncredited animatronic designer, under Millennium FX, on TV: New Earth, The Girl in the Fireplace, The Runaway Bride, Smith and Jones and Planet of the Dead.[1]

Growing up in Amsterdam, Hoegan developed a special interest for practical effects in sci-fi and fantasy films, and moved to the UK at age 19, to study at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. A few years later, Hoegan finally turned to character creation and animatronic design.[2]

Outside the DWU, he has worked on Prometheus, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and modern Star Wars films, including The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Last Jedi and Solo.
