The Intergalactic Cookbook for Beginners was a cookbook known to the Doctor.
As his letter for the second issue of Doctor Who Weekly had been sent in the same container as a batch of smoked klim-bait, the Fourth Doctor advised the recipient to grill the klim-bait on a piece of toast if they had the recipe from the revised edition of the Intergalactic Cookbook handy, which was found on page seventy-twelve.
