Maga-particles were a unit of measurement used by the Daleks during the operation of their Electron Displacement Recorder.
In February 2065, a Dalek noticed Kest's spaceship entering Skaro's atmosphere by observing the reading on the Displacement Recorder that electrons were displaced one hundred maga-particles above Skaro, which indicated that a "heavy body" had entered the atmosphere. (COMIC: Power Play)
