Nuthutch Foods was developed by chairman Clifford Jones in the 1980s. It produced vegetarian meat-free products under the label Nuthutch. These products included a chicken style roast and fungus cannelloni, whose ingredients include tomatoes, herbs, mushrooms, mould, "that strange lump of something on the stairs in that run-down house [...]" and egg pasta.
