Omega (Remembrance of the Daleks)

An incarnation of Omega, already a member of the Triumvirate, emerged from regeneration as "a huge man with wide shoulders and muscular arms" in a "definite drift from the regenerative norm", leading some Gallifreyan observers to speculate his body was a genetic memory of the dark time. At one point, he stretched out his arms in a way that made him look like a barbarian king. (PROSE: Remembrance of the Daleks)

• The epithet "barbarian king" was also applied to Yrcanos, who was portrayed by Brian Blessed in Mindwarp. Coincidently, Blessed would portray Omega in the audio adaptation of the comic story Omega by Cutaway Comics.
